ISO 45001:2018 is applicable to all organizations, regardless of size, industry or nature of business. It enables organizations to put in place an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. This will help organizations manage their OH&S risks and improve their OH&S performance by developing and implementing effective policies and objectives.

The standard will be a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions, prevent work-related injury, ill-health and also continually improve OH&S performance.

Migration from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018

If your organization is currently certified to OHSAS 18001 then you will need to migrate to ISO 45001, as OHSAS 18001 will be withdrawn.
